Tasting - Bodega Norton Torrontés

Name: Bodega Norton Torrontés
Variety: 100% Torrontés
Region: Luján de Cuyo
Country: Argentina
Year: 2011
Price: $5.95

Critic Review:  "Greenish yellow with hints of gold, this Torrentés has intense aromas of white peach, rose petal, and jasmine.  Norton Torrontés 2011 is pleasant and well balanced on the palate."

My Review:  A very, very sweet aroma, consisting mostly of flowers and peach.  However, in my opinion  there wasn't much taste to this wine.  It tasted slightly of peaches and tropical fruits, such as pineapple or mango.  It was very sweet and smooth to the palate, but not very acidic.  I would try this wine again.

I tasted this wine without food.
